In “House of Cards,” Kevin Spacey stars as Francis (Frank) J. Underwood, a powerful politician from South Carolina’s fifth congressional district. Known for his roles in movies like “Se7en,” “American Beauty,” and “21,” Spacey creates another character in this series that will keep you glued to the screen. Frank’s wife, Claire Underwood, is played by actress Robin Wright… anyone remember Jenny from “Forrest Gump?” HELLO! Acting alongside this dynamic duo are Kate Mara, Corey Stoll, Michel Gill and Michael Kelly!

If you haven’t started watching “House of Cards,” get a move-on because the release of its third season is right around the corner. Now I won’t spoil anything for you, but Frank takes on a new role in season three that will make the series even more exciting! So, if you haven’t seen the last two seasons of House of Cards, I highly suggest you start binge watching now

This whole Netflix series is dedicated to keeping you on your toes. Don’t believe me? Get to the second season, and your feelings will definitely change! Frank is always scheming and clawing his way through the trenches of government, letting no one stop him and his wife from getting what they want— POWER! At the same time, the two end up teaching us a life lesson or two.

“House of Cards” is a game changer in the world of online television. It is one of the only original online series to have received 22 Emmy nominations— four of which were wins.  The series was recognized for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series, Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series, Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series and Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.
