Whether you've already made "Paris" and "Uma" your jam or you've yet to discover some of the year's best new indie, UU has got you covered. Now's your chance to get up close and personal with two hot, up-and-coming bands. In case you haven't heard, Magic Man and Panama Wedding are kicking off UU's Bandersnatch Series this week. Magic Man and Panama Wedding will rock the Schine Underground Wednesday night at 8:00pm. Get yourself ready for the show with UU's Bandersnatch to-do-list:
1. Read Up On What's New With Our Headliner
Magic Man's been up to quite a bit since touring with Panic at the Disco!. Produced by Columbia, the band's full length debut, Before the Waves, is a mix of innocence and experience. Magic Man's album and its widening tour orbit serve as a statement of intent for its band members: offering us something singular, reckless, comfortable and real, they are here to stay.
2. Hit 'Em Up on Spotify
The Bandersnatch playlist we've put together is sure to get you through midterms. Reminisce over the music of past Bandersnatch shows, and preview some of the songs you'll hear Wednesday like the fun Panama Wedding single, "All the People."
3. Listen to Basket(s), Our Student Opener
The experimental indie band, Basket(s), will open the show with originals from its killer EP, Elevator Basement. If you need some zen time before Wednesday, we recommend the track, "Promise of a Mustard Seed."
4. Grab Your Friends and Get Your Tickets
A limited number of tickets are still available at the Schine Box Office for $5 each. Visit UU's Facebook page for more info.
Cross any other items off your own to-do-list, and you are ready to go. Now to wait for the show to start...
See you at Bandersnatch!
