This year, University Union has announced what I would argue is the best Block Party lineup yet- Chance The Rapper, The Chainsmokers, and Jon Bellion.

Chance has been everywhere and a half lately, from being the first independent artist to musical guest on Saturday Night Live to having multiple credits and features on Kanye West's album, The Life of Pablo. With soulful, energizing performances and the spirit of the Chicago rap he had such a hand in building exemplified in his set, the stage will, no question, be lit up on an "Ultralight Beam".

Syracuse Bandier alum Drew Taggart will be triumphantly returning to the school with Alex Pall as The Chainsmokers. Gaining huge success with Syracuse favorites like "Roses" and "Kanye" and new bangers coming out frequently, they are sure to bring the party.

Hit songwriter and talented producer, composer, and singer, Jon Bellion, will be making his Syracuse debut for Block Party as well. With a new album, The Definition coming out any minute now in US, he will come ready to show off his smooth vocals and exciting beats to our happily listening ears.

Get ready, get excited. This year's going to be a good one.
