Meet your Juice Jam headliner, A$AP Ferg.

If you couldn’t already tell by his name, A$AP Ferg is part of the A$AP Mob: a collective of rappers, producers, directors, and designers that all come together under their shared love of hip-hop. Before even thinking about becoming a rapper, A$AP Ferg initially went to art school in hopes of becoming a fashion designer. In 2005 he launched his own company, Devoni Clothing, and began selling to artists like Chris Brown and Swizz Beatz. A$AP Ferg credits A$AP Rocky for being the reason why he started his music career. After featuring on Rocky’s album Long. Live. ASAP., Ferg introduced himself to the world with “Work.” The single took the world by storm and soon was remixed, featuring French Montana, Trinidad James, and ScHoolboy Q. This version exploded on the charts, and was placed on Ferg’s debut album Trap Lord.

More recently, “Plain Jane” from the album Still Striving has blown up as his most popular song, with over 277 million plays on Spotify. He has almost 10 million monthly listeners on the platform. Ferg is from Harlem, a fact that’s clearly within his gritty and raw music. From “Work” to “Plain Jane,” he has continued to stay open and about the struggles of his early life. His bold honestly and sharp flow make for an incredible story, a story we can’t wait to hear this coming weekend.
