You know the date. You know the lineup. Now here’s what you need to know about the Do’s and Don’ts of Juice Jam!
STAY HYDRATED: Hydrate or Diedreate. The day is starting off early, so the last thing you want is to lose steam. UU provides free water throughout the day so make sure to visit the water table as often as you can.
CHARGE YOUR PHONE: You’ll definitely want to have your phone ready to go so you can take pictures, record videos and document the whole day! Instagram will be lost without your yearly Juice Jam posts so plug in those phones or bring a portable charger! ( And make sure to tag @UniversityUnion)
FIND YOUR JUICE JAM BUDDY: Juice Jam is a big event with big crowds, and it can be easy to get lost. Go with a friend or group and use the buddy system to make sure that you all have a fun time together!
SILENT DISCO: Make sure to swing by the silent disco tent for the quietest but most enthusiastic dance party! Grab a pair of headphones and enjoy student-produced dance mixes!
GET THERE ON TIME: Set those alarms, plan your outfits the night before and whatever you do, get there on time! You don't want to miss any of this year’s artists so get there on time to secure that coveted barricade spot.
FORGET YOUR ID: If you're going to remember one thing, it has to be your ID! No ID? No getting into Juice Jam! Double (then triple) check that you and all your friends have your IDs before you leave because no one wants to take that bus all the way back to main campus.
WEAR YOUR BEST SHOES: Tragically, shoes are the #1 festival casualty. Go all out and embrace your fashion style, but it’s a good idea to save those new shoes for another day. Your brand new white Adidas won't stand a chance.
BRING A BAG: If it doesn’t fit in a pocket, you don’t need it. As long as you’ve got the essentials, your phone, ticket, and sunglasses; you’re ready to go!
BE AFRAID TO DANCE: Enjoy Juice Jam to the fullest! Sing, dance and live your best life!
FORGET TO BUY YOUR TICKET: They’re selling out fast! Get yours for $20 with a SUID at the Carrier Dome Gate E Monday-Friday 10am-6pm.
